This quote by @janehardwickecollings resonates so much with me at this time of my life. I feel it explains so well the real need for us women to hold a common vision that is held and founded in sisterhood. That has its roots in the empowerment of us all and in the recognition that we thrive best when being TOGETHER. And this is something that should be celebrated and honoured from a very early age, specially through our teenage years, where we go through so many emotional /hormonal changes and we can get a bit lost in our path of supporting each other. I mean, it should be part of school curriculums! (But that’s another post entirely) But we do reach a point as we grow into our adulthood where we recognise and crave this connection, so we seek it again. And we find whole new friendships and relationships that grow and evolve with us, and that hold and support our need for a tribe of women that can elevate us. That want to see us thrive and glow. I guess we go through so many seasons in our life, each of them with their own lessons, so we connect at some point with the need to heal our wounds, not just for ourselves, but for all our relations. Feminine and masculine. And through this find ourselves reclaiming what our inner child always knew. What our past self knew. Our thread knew. That isolating ourselves only creates more damage and divisiveness...so let’s reclaim this unique love back. Here’s to all of you. A sisterhood that welcomes all the seasons in life. Xx Romi
